Start a New Filing
Notice: On August 1st, 2021 we began enforcing our Data Retention policy as outlined in our Instructions. Any documents in orders older than 90 days will be deleted. These documents can still be accessed via the San Joaquin County Superior Court Public Portal or by contacting the Records Management department.
Welcome to the Superior Court of CA – County of San Joaquin eFiling Portal. The Court has partnered with nCourt, payment processing provider, to provide the public with the ability to submit and pay for court filings. List of supported case types and filings are defined here.
It is ultimately the responsibility of the filer/litigant to make sure their documents are filed timely with the court. Please allow adequate time for technical, payment or other unforeseen issues which may require an alternative filing method to meet deadlines.
California Rule of Court 8.77 Actions by court on receipt of electronic filing
(d) Delayed delivery
If a filer fails to meet a filing deadline imposed by court order, rule, or statute because of a failure at any point in the electronic transmission and receipt of a document, the filer may file the document on paper or electronically as soon thereafter as practicable and accompany the filing with a motion to accept the document as timely filed. For good cause shown, the court may enter an order permitting the document to be filed nunc pro tunc to the date the filer originally sought to transmit the document electronically.
